LEARN is the Low Energy Architecture Research Unit in the Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Design of the London Metropolitan University.
LEARN was created in 1987 to bridge the gap between architecture and research in low energy design. Research focuses on the efficient use of energy, sustainability and high levels of visual and thermal comfort.
Besides running the Master in Architecture, Energy and Sustainability and administering the NCEUB Network for Comfort and Energy Use in Buildings, the unit offers consultancy in the areas of expertise, in co-ordination with the ASD projects of the Faculty.
